Commercial rights for VOIS-provided library voices
VOIS-provided library voices are made with rights-holder consent and compensation. The commercial-use rights VOIS grants apply only to these voices, under the Terms of Service.
Use your own recordings, or source recordings you have permission to use. Source recording rights and the rights to the music or lyrics are separate from the VOIS library.
Processing does not clear other voices
VOIS does not sell or grant commercial-use rights for Clone or other non-library voices, including private, shared or custom voices. Paying for credits, a subscription or processing does not provide those rights. You must already hold or obtain every permission needed for your intended use, including commercial releases.
Read the terms of useClone references and generated audio
You must own or have the necessary rights to the reference recording, and be the voice owner or have their explicit consent to clone and reuse their voice. Permission to use a recording and permission to clone its singer are separate requirements.
You are responsible for the references you upload and how you use generated audio. VOIS’s library license does not cover a Clone reference or its voice. Any commercial use depends on rights and permissions you hold independently of VOIS. Review those permissions and the VOIS Terms of Service before releasing or sharing a result.
Check the terms for your project
This page summarizes the existing public-library guidance. For private, shared, or custom voices, confirm the voice owner’s permission and the terms that apply to that voice and your intended use.
For a licensing question, describe the voice and project to support so you can review the relevant terms before release.
