Bring VOIS into your session.

The desktop VOIS download includes VST3, AU, and AAX formats for compatible DAWs on macOS and Windows. Choose the format your host supports, then check its operating-system and plugin requirements.

Pro ToolsAAXFor the ARA version, use the track’s ARA plugin selector. See the guidance below.
Logic ProAUUse AU. For ARA on Apple silicon, run Logic using Rosetta.
Ableton LiveVST3; AU on macOSEnable the matching plugin source in Live’s settings.
FL StudioVST3Scan the installed plugin in your host’s plugin manager.

Plugin-format support and ARA integration are separate. ARA availability depends on the host and its version. Check your DAW’s requirements alongside the VOIS installer requirements.

ARA in Logic on Apple silicon

Logic Pro currently requires Rosetta for ARA plug-ins on Apple silicon. The regular VOIS AU capture workflow runs natively. VOIS App Store AUv3 also uses capture and does not provide ARA.

  1. Quit Logic Pro.
  2. In Finder, select Logic Pro, open Get Info, and enable Open using Rosetta.
  3. Reopen Logic, insert VOIS (ARA) in the first Audio FX slot, then start playback once.

Rosetta makes some Logic features unavailable, including Stem Splitter and ChromaGlow. This ARA requirement is specific to Logic; check the host’s requirements when using another DAW.

Finding VOIS in Pro Tools

In Pro Tools 2022.9 and later, the ARA version appears in the ARA plugin selector on the track header, next to Elastic Audio. Non-ARA installers for macOS and Windows are available below.

Download the non-ARA macOS installer or non-ARA Windows installer if your workflow needs the non-ARA version.

Before your first session

The existing download supports macOS 10.15 Catalina or later and Windows 7 or later, together with a compatible DAW. Check the installer and your DAW for platform requirements.

An internet connection is required for processing. Start with clean, dry audio, then follow the getting-started tutorial for the plugin workflow.

If VOIS does not appear after installation, restart the DAW and check its plugin scan or manager. For help with a particular setup, contact support with your operating system, DAW version, and VOIS version.

Plugin and standalone downloads

The website installers provide desktop plugins for macOS and Windows. Standalone apps are available from the App Store for macOS and iPhone/iPad, and from Google Play for Android. Each app has its own operating-system requirements and store purchase options.

The iOS app includes an AUv3 effect for compatible music apps. Capture audio from the host, process it in VOIS and hear the result in your project. The host owns transport and arrangement; the extension uses that workflow rather than the standalone backing-track and tuning controls. ARA is a desktop integration and is not part of iOS AUv3.
